Tom Grier

Tom Grier retired from the United States Army after 30 years of service as an Intelligence Sergeant Major (35Z). His career culminated as the Unit Sergeant Major at the Joint Interagency Task Force-National Capitol Region (JIATF-NCR) from 2018 to 2020. Previous assignments included G2 SGM, Battalion Operations SGM, and Troop SGM in a USASOC Bde Element.

Tom served in operational and leadership roles in CENTCOM, AFRICOM, EUCOM, INDOCPACOM, AND SOUTHCOM.
Military education includes all levels of NCOES to include JSOFSEA, and the USASMA Non-Resident Course. He is also a graduate of Ranger School, the Long Range Surveillance Leaders Course, Master Fitness Trainers Course and a two time graduate of the Defense Language Institute.

Civilian Education includes an Associate of Applied Science in Intelligence Operations, Cochise College, Bachelor of Science in Foreign Languages from Excelsior State College of New York, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in GIS from Penn State.

Tom continues to support the IC, USSOCOM, and the DoD as a contractor in the NCR and through membership in AUSA, MICA and TF-7294.
