Nicholas Cerra 

Nicholas Cerra is CACI SOFETOPS, Senior Intelligence Analyst and Lead serving multiple government services at Ft. Liberty, NC.  Nicholas Cerra is a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major with more than 23 years of experience leading special operations and intelligence efforts. Retiring in 2020, Nicholas possesses extensive operational experience U.S. Army Special Operations Command, with assignments in 3rd Battalion, 10 Special Forces Group, and U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

Nicholas spent the last 15 years of service in various roles within U.S. Army Special Operations Command, during which he served in multiple operational capacities including various roles in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. During his time in the Army, Nicholas also supported multiple Intelligence Community (IC) agencies supporting multiple operations and efforts. Nicholas’s final assignment was as the Intelligence Squadron Sergeant Major at Ft. Liberty, NC where he directed the analytical training course, multiple research and development programs, a unique system architecture, and oversaw direct intelligence support to SOF and IC/IA partners in over 20 countries. Nicholas has received numerous military and IC awards for leadership and performance, including multiple National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citations, and the NDIA SO/LIC Superior Achievement Award. 

Nicholas continues to serve the U.S. National Security Mission as an influential advisor within 1st Special Forces Command. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, and Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Nicholas also holds and completed numerous courses and certifications in various fields. 

Nicholas lives in Fayetteville, North Carolina area and is married to Cynthia, and has 3 children, Sebatian, Ruby Maria, and Poppy Belle Cerra.
