Beginning as an intelligence analyst at the Regimental Headquarters, Lee later transitioned to the S2 shop of the 3rd Ranger Battalion. After a stint there until 2008, he returned to regimental headquarters, ultimately rising to the position of First Sergeant at the MICO within the RSTB and concluding his career as the Command Sergeant Major for the newly formed provisional Regimental Intelligence Battalion. Lee's military journey encompassed 13 deployments in support of the Global War on Terror, including participation in both the Afghan and Iraqi invasions.

This initiative, known as Project Resilience, reflects Lee's commitment to holistic well-being and community service.

Lee currently serves as the MI battalion unit director for the 75th Ranger Regiment Association, further solidifying his dedication to his fellow veterans and the broader military community.
