Kevin Sullivan is an analyst, advisor and retired U.S. Army Intelligence Sergeant Major having served over 20 years in the Special Operations Community as a senior intelligence professional supporting Special Missions Units.  A dedicated analyst, highly trained in the collection, organization and dissemination of critical information, Kevin has years of hands-on experience identifying opportunities and risks for the leaders.

Kevin’s military experience began in 1999 with a focus on intelligence.  Following tours in Korea and Iraq Kevin assessed and was selected for assignment to a Special Mission Unit.  His initial assignments included service as a senior intelligence analyst for a Regional Task Force in Iraq and then served with 11 different regional task forces across the Middle East, Levant, and North Africa with a primary focus on counter-terrorism operations.  Kevin’s leadership and acumen resulted in his selection as a Special Operations Troop Sergeant Major with duties leading and overseeing the efforts of 100+ intelligence professionals in support of global mission requirements. 

Following retirement from the Army, Kevin first served as Deputy Operations Officer for a defense contracting company, creating novel business offerings that merged business intelligence solutions and Special Mission Intelligence targeting operations.   In April 2021 Kevin accepted a position as a senior advisor for a Defense Agency, working as an expert advisor and liaison between special operations and interagency community leaders. Kevin provided direct support for several crisis events by identifying opportunities to support warfighters through enabling decisionmakers to rapidly understand critical requirements and facilitate risk management for personnel deployed in high threat environments. In January 2023, Kevin accepted a position with an International Defense Contracting firm, assuming duties as master trainer for foreign military allies building intelligence capabilities in support of multiple counterterrorism operational requirements.

Kevin’s skills and experience span both the technical collection realm as well as leading diverse, high performing teams charged with solving some of the most difficult problems on the planet. Kevin concretely understands the unique challenges facing analysts at all levels, as well as the tremendous responsibility and resulting strain supporting operations can have on those given the opportunity to serve at the ‘tip of the spear’.
